TITLE I

PARENT-SCHOOL COMPACT

PRINCIPAL AND TEACHER

     Schools have a responsibility to provide a positive, safe environment that is open to parents and students and to set high expectations for learning in order to educate children to become successful citizens of tomorrow.  Therefore, I pledge that I will:

     1.  Be a positive role model.

     2.  Provide a high quality curriculum.

     3.  Provide a supportive classroom environment.

     4.  Respect the cultural differences of students and their families.

     5.  Establish open lines of communication with parents concerning their child's school  performance through, (1) annual parent-teacher conferences; (2) frequent progress  

          reports, and (3) reasonable access to staff and opportunities to volunteer, observe and

          participate in classroom activities.
 


PARENTS

     Involvement in my child's school is very important to improved learning and student conduct.  Therefore, as a parent I pledge that I will:

     1.  Be actively involved in my child's learning.

     2.  Attend conferences with teachers and/or principal.

     3.  Communicate regularly with my child’s teacher.

     4.  Support the school in its efforts to maintain proper discipline.

     5.  Provide a supportive home environment to ensure success for my child at school by  

          monitoring attendance, homework completion, volunteering in the classroom, and 

          encouraging the positive use of extracurricular time.


STUDENT

     Success in school is determined in part by accepting responsibility for good behavior in the school as well as in the community.  Therefore, I pledge that I will:

     1.  Respect others.

     2.  Always try to do my best in my work and in my behavior.

     3.  Be prepared for school daily with all necessary materials and assignments.

     4.  Follow all school and classroom rules.

PACTO DE PADRES Y ESCUELA

Directora y profesora

Las escuelas tienen la responsabilidad de proporcionar un ambiente positivo y seguro que esté abierto a los padres y estudiantes y establecer altas expectativas de aprendizaje para educar a los niños para que se conviertan en ciudadanos exitosos del mañana. Por lo tanto, me comprometo a:

  1. Sea un modelo a seguir positivo.
  2. Proporcionar un plan de estudios de alta calidad.
  3. Proporcionar un ambiente de apoyo en el aula.
  4. Respetar las diferencias culturales de los estudiantes y sus familias.
  5. Establecer líneas abiertas de comunicación con los padres sobre el rendimiento escolar de sus hijos a través de, (1) conferencias anuales de padres y maestros; (2) progreso frecuente informes, y (3) acceso razonable al personal y oportunidades para ser voluntario, observar y participar en las actividades del aula.

Madres y Padres

La participación en la escuela de mi hijo es muy importante para mejorar el aprendizaje y la conducta de los estudiantes. Por lo tanto, como padre, me comprometo a:

    1. Participar activamente en el aprendizaje de mi hijo.
    2. Asistir a conferencias con maestras y / o directora.
  • Comunicarse regularmente con el maestro de mi hijo.
  • Apoyar a la escuela en sus esfuerzos por mantener la disciplina adecuada.
  • Proporcionar un entorno hogareño de apoyo para asegurar el éxito de mi hijo en la escuela al monitorear la asistencia, completar la tarea, ser voluntario en el salón de clases y fomentar el uso positivo del tiempo extraescolar.

Alumna y Alumno 

El éxito en la escuela se determina en parte al aceptar la responsabilidad por el buen comportamiento en la escuela y en la comunidad. Por lo tanto, me comprometo a:

  1. Respetar a las demás.
  2. Siempre trato de dar lo mejor de mí en mi trabajo y en mi comportamiento.
  3. Esté preparado para la escuela todos los días con todos los materiales y tareas necesarios.
  4. Siga todas las reglas de la escuela y del salón de clases.
