Assistant Principal - Brandon McIntosh

Greetings!  My name is Brandon L. McIntosh and I am super excited about rejoining the Centerville Elementary School as the Assistant Principal.  This is my 14th year in education! 

 

I am a native of Anderson, South Carolina and a proud product of Anderson School District 5 where I attended Nevitt Forest Elementary School, Southwood Middle School, and graduated from TL Hanna High School in 2008.  I attended Claflin University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2012.  I had the privilege to teach 4th grade for 3 years in Columbia, South Carolina.  I returned to Anderson in 2015 to teach at Nevitt Forest Elementary School and further my education at Anderson University where I graduated with a Masters of Education with a concentration in Administration and Supervision in 2016.  I have known that I wanted to become a school leader since I was a Kindergarten student at Nevitt.  During my time at Nevitt, I was awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2017-2018 academic school year and was a Top 3 Finalist for District Teacher of the Year.  After teaching at Nevitt for 3 years, serving as the Title I Facilitator & Math Interventionist, I ventured into the world of becoming an administrator and served as Assistant Principal at Centerville Elementary, Homeland Park Primary, and Nevitt Forest Elementary School.  I am super excited to be returning to CES to serve our school community.

 

I also serve families throughout the state of South Carolina in obtaining homeownership.  I am a realtor with REAL Broker, LLC. and serves with The Link Group, a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc., and also, a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Belton, S.C.  I pride myself in developing positive relationships, serving others, and providing positive experiences for everyone I encounter.
