Zach McCormick, a Westside senior was an undefeated wrestler
(45-0) last year and won his second state title this year.  Zach was a former Centerville students and CEN crew member.  We are proud of you, Zach! 



Matt White, a former Centerville student is back and is student teaching with Mrs. Skelton in second grade.  Welcome back, Matt!



Billy Marsengill, a former Centerville student and CEN crew member received his high school letter for wrestling at Liberty High School!

Nathan Madden, a junior at Westside High School, and former Centerville student, will represent American Legion Post 14 at the Department of South Carolina Oratorical Finals.
His speech is titled
“The Citizen’s Consent to Government.”

Lakeside Student Places in National Competition
 
Shelby Williams, a sixth grader at Lakeside Middle School, has been named a second place winner in the national level Poetry and Poster Contest conducted by the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
 
Shelby won first place in the state level contest earlier this year. Her poster was then sent to California to be judged at the national level. Shelby’s winning poster represented the Mixed Media category in the contest and excelled in portraying the theme of this year’s contest, “Inspire Your Career, Develop Your Dreams.” In this category, students could use photos, clipart, graphic art software, a collage format, and/or cut and pasted paper. 
 








Shelby Williams, a Lakeside student and former Centerville student won first place in the SC Career Month Poster Contest sponsored by the National Career Development Association.  Congratulations, Shelby!



Reid Allison, a junior at Westside and former Centerville student and CEN crew member, won the Region Cross Country Chanpionship in the 5K.  He will represent Westside in the Upper State Championships at Dorman High School on Nov. 1st.  This is Reid's second consecutive regional title.
