Dear Centerville Parents and Guardians,
I would like to thank the Centerville learning community for such a smooth school opening. This year we have welcomed over 80 new students to our school, not counting our incoming Kindergarten class. These new students have enhanced our student body and we are glad that they are now a part of our Centerville family.
We have enjoyed a number of PTO and school-sponsored events since the beginning of our school year. On September 4, we had our first Donuts for Dads meeting with over 100 Dads participating. In addition, we also had the ribbon-cutting for our new playground on September 4, which was attended by community officials and district personnel. Last year, as a school faculty, we raised over $20,000 in order to purchase a new playground for our Centerville community. On September 15, we hosted our annual Family Fitness Fun Night. Even the rainy weather did not dampen the spirits of those who participated. Our children enjoyed the company of their grandparents as we celebrated Grandparents’ Day on September 18. Over 400 adult meals were served by our great cafeteria staff on that day.
Please continue to check our website for our upcoming events as we strive to excel as a “Community of Champions”.
Sincerely,
Kory Roberts
Principal
